Since Jan 2024 Lufthansa help alliance gGmbH is sponsering the KEDECI/Yatra project and assigned Rita, who is a Lufthansa employee and the KEDECI chairman (Vorstand), the role of a volunteer project coordinator.

Help alliance is founded in 1999 by Lufthansa Group employees and since 2017 as a non-profit limited liability company under the umbrella of the Lufthansa Group – is engaged worldwide in giving young people access to education and enabling them to lead a self-determined life.
The cooperation of KEDECI e.V. with the Yatra Art and Culture Foundation enables the KEDECI association to carry out its statutory tasks in the field of environmental protection, kids educational development and promotion of traditional arts and culture in Kuilapalayam.
The cooperation also fullfills the demand of help alliance to have LH employees as volunteers working in their leizure time as project coordinators together with local partner NPOs.
The members of the KEDECI association actively participate in the projects on site and contribute to raising awareness among the villagers and track the impact by conducting surveys and interviews some weeks after the street village plays and school film screening events have been executed.
Through regular reporting and control, the association ensures the purposeful implementation of the projects.
